TRANSFORMERS... truly more than meets the eye

I just saw the TRANSFORMERS movie yesterday. It was awesome. With all the problems that are happening in my life right now, this movie absolutely took my mind off it. It was that great.

I had my doubts when I heard that Michael Bay was directing it. I mean what does a guy who did action blockbuster films have to do with a sci-fi flick, right? I have found new respect for the guy who actually pulled it off.

The movie centers around the chase for an ultimate source of power called the AllSpark, which is actually a take on the 1986 cartoon movie's power source called "Autobot Matrix of Leadership". It pretty much a straight forward story but the execution is great. I like how the movie hops from scene to scene discussing the story of Sam and the otherworldy threat on the other. Think of it as  micro-sodes with a definite conclusions but slowly building up a puzzle to culminate a final act in the movie.

It is also amazing that there are so many cheesy bits and pieces attached to the movie but the execution is so perfect it makes it funny. You will hear taglines from the old 80s cartoons if you listen to them closely.

To close my whole review, Let me top it off with great reasons/highlights to see this film:

1. Megan Fox... she is so hot ...if she keeps her roles like these she just might be the Alba killer

2. Transformers tag lines... from "Autobots roll out" to "Once again you fail me Starscream". Good Stuff!!!

3. Robot Fight Scenes... if Robot action in movie is going to be this good then i can't wait to see more. (Evangelion)

4. Pure Nostalgia... if you are a fanboy or watching the cartoon series growing up. You cannot miss this movie.

As parting words for this movie review, I would like to say that I want a Camaro as a car right now.
